Brought to Tasmania by early European settlers, the blackberry bush (Rubus fruticosus) was prized for its sweet and juicy fruit. Large stands of wild blackberries are now rare, and Blue Hills Honey is among few beekeeping families still producing genuine wild Blackberry honey, highly sought after for its distinctive profile.
